On the Go with Josie O - Cannes, Eze, Monaco

Here’s my take on the allure of the next amazing Port, Port of Cannes on our Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines (NCL). The Cannes, Eze, and Monte Carlo locations from Port of Cannes definitely each have their own unique charm. 

Cannes: Ah, Cannes! Home of the famous Cannes Film Festival! Just guessing that the most challenging part of attending the film festival is remembering whether you’re sipping on a martini or just pretending to know what an "artsy film" is while nodding vigorously. You can always recognize a true Cannes veteran — they can tell you the difference between a "Cannes" and a "Can’t."

Eze: Then there’s Eze, we loved Eze! What a charming, beautiful town! It’s beautifully perched high above the Mediterranean. Walking through its narrow, winding cobblestone paths feels like a workout — a great way to work off the pastries we definitely deserved. If you're a fan of French fragrances, be sure to stop in at the Perfume Factory just outside of Eze! 

Monte Carlo: And who can resist Monte Carlo, where you can lose track of time — and maybe a little cash — while pretending to be James Bond? The casinos are charming, but good luck playing poker when everyone at the table looks like they just walked off a yacht. The real gamble isn’t really the chips; it’s deciding whether to order another $20 water or just embracing the inevitable dehydration!

So there you have it, a trio of stunning locales from the Port of Cannes where you can enjoy life with a big smile. Just don’t forget your sunglasses — you’ll need them for the view and to shield yourself from the blinding glamour! What a great time we had!!
